Unlike other programs that either beat up the same movements over and over, or have you running circles around the gym watching screens, we've combined the best elements of functional and strength training to create a culture where we still lift weights, but not too much... still train with intensity, but not every day... and always do something different, but occasionally revisit workouts to track progress and celebrate success.
We call it hybrid group fitness, a balanced program tailored to your goals that keeps you ready for life’s adventures… i.e. hiking, skiing, hunting, biking, etc.
Veteran owned and family operated.

Yes and no, depending on your experience with both. All of our Coaches are certified CFL1 and above with several years of experience teaching weightlifting, functional exercise, and high intensity interval training. Our WOD (workout of the day) will usually have a strength and conditioning element where we train together as a team, sweat, and move with a purpose... i.e. finishing a workout for time or reps.
No! Even though we train and attract a lot of competitive athletes, our program is for everyone. Our coaches are very skilled at challenging you at your level, not theirs, or anyone else's. If you're new to fitness, it's been a few years, or you're coming back from an injury we can work with you 1:1 until you're ready to jump into the group classes.
Our main group fitness program is for adults, and people are usually surprised to hear that most of our members are busy middle aged parents. Our youngest members are 16-19yo's that joined because their parents train here, but we also have strong and capable athletes well into their sixties.
Haha... yes! We all know sugar and fatty foods aren't going to make us any leaner, but a healthy lifestyle has to be manageable and realistic for the long term. When you start working out more consistently you'll tend to want to eat healthier foods to fuel your workouts and recovery. By avoiding excessive amounts of refined carbohydrates and measuring your protein intake you will see dramatic, measurable increases in your health. But as long as you're working out consistently it's OK to indulge every once in a while.
Our group classes are 60 minutes. We start with roll call and a whiteboard meeting so we can welcome new members and demonstrate the movements. Then, a coach will guide you through a warm-up and each element of the workout. We want you to challenge yourself and sweat for 30-35 minutes of the hour.
We take extreme pride in knowing all of our members and what your goals are so we can adjust your workouts accordingly. We also have a strict 14 person class limit, which allows our team to provide individualized coaching and workout modifications if they are needed.
For the best results we recommend attending at least 3 classes per week. Each class is a full body workout, but we change the movements, duration, and intensity daily so you never get bored or do the same exercise twice in the same week. This keeps our workouts interesting and helps you avoid overtraining.
Yes! We have a Kids & Teens program for youth ages 9-15, and prices start at less than $6 per class! Message us for more information or to schedule a trial class.
